CAHSEE Reminder

Sent: Monday, March 16th 2009
This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday,
March 18th will be minimum days. Zero period will still meet during its
normal time, and tutorial will still take place. All classes will be 1
hour and 5 minutes in length. School will end at 12:20 for all grade
levels. Sophomores are expected to stay on campus where they will have
a 40 minute lunch period before taking the California High School Exit
Exam (CAHSEE). There will be bus transportation at 12:20 for grades 9,
10, and 11 and transportation at 4:30 for 10th graders. The following
is the schedule for the days.

Period Time

Tutorial 9:15 -9:50

3,4 10:00 - 11:05

5,6 11:15 - 12:20

Lunch 12:20 -12:50

Testing 1:00 - end of test

Sophomores were sent a letter home telling them what room to report to
and bring a picture ID and a #2 pencil. If you have a sophomore that
did not receive a letter, or misplaced it, there is an alphabetical
listing of room assignments outside of the guidance office for your
child to reference. The test is untimed but the average student
completes it in approximately 2 hours. Students will be allowed to go
home once they have finished their exam.
